Important Shipping & Delivery Information

Please do not rely solely on estimated delivery dates if a holiday falls during the expected delivery window. Holidays can impact shipping times differently depending on the courier. For accurate delivery timeframes to your location, please contact our Customer Service Team.

What Counts as a Business Day?

  • A business day is any day the courier operates for the selected shipping method.

  • Business days are typically Monday to Friday for FedEx, UPS, and Canada Post.

  • Saturday is only counted as a business day if Priority Saturday Service is selected (FedEx and UPS). Otherwise, Saturday and Sunday do not count as business days.

  • USPS generally delivers Monday through Saturday, so Saturday may count as a business day—but this is not guaranteed.

  • Canada Post delivers Monday to Friday only.

Note: The day your order ships does not count as a business day.
For example, if your order ships on Monday, the first business day is Tuesday.

Delivery Examples (UPS, FedEx, or Canada Post - shipping on Monday):

  • 1 Business Day: Delivered Tuesday

  • 2 Business Days: Delivered Wednesday

  • 3 Business Days: Delivered Thursday

  • 4 Business Days: Delivered Friday

  • 5 Business Days: Delivered the following Monday (since Saturday and Sunday are not counted)

Delivery Delays

At Party Balloons, we strive to ensure your orders arrive on time. However, delays may occasionally occur due to:

  • Severe weather conditions

  • Mechanical failures (e.g., truck or airplane breakdowns)

  • Local disruptions in transit cities (e.g., strikes or road closures)

These situations are unfortunately beyond our control, and delays are more common in remote areas.

Delivery Guarantee

While we aim for timely delivery, we cannot guarantee that a package will arrive by the estimated date provided by the courier. However, FedEx, UPS, and other major couriers successfully deliver 97% of shipments on time.
